Anniversary and more adoption documents

On June 24, 2009 we celebrated our 8th Anniversary. We took a family walk in the morning, bribing the boys with a DumDum to keep up with us. Then, Ms. Jenna came over so we could go to Longhorn for lunch with a giftcard that we had. Jeremiah bought me an outfit at Ann Taylor Loft and two shirts from Banana Republic. We spent the evening at the Mixon's with our small group. It was a nice day.

After round two, we finally got the Gwinnett Courthouse to accept our adoption documents. The next step is for me to get an appointment to complete my passport and have the I-797 copy notarized and certified by Gwinnett County and then send everything to the State of GA.

Preston has been talking a lot lately about his sister from China. He thinks that he is going with us to China and doesn't really have a concept of how far way it is and how long it is going to be until we travel to get baby sister. Now he is asking for another brother. I said, "Mommy, we could just line up three beds in a row!" He doesn't even like to share his toys, so I don't think he understands the concepts of 3 boys sharing one bedroom.

My little sister, Jordyn, is coming to stay with us! We will pick her up Sunday at the airport. We can't wait to spend the rest of the summer with her! We love you, Jordie.
